Friday, October 3rd -  Golf at Grandover

36 holes of world class golf are right outside your door. Designed by David Graham and Gary Panks, world renowned golf architects. Built amidst the 1500 acres of oaks, pine and dogwood covered hills, the courses provide a blaze of color and assure golfers they are in the Carolinas, America's heartland of golf. Share stunning panoramas with the deer and fox in this golfer's paradise.  An award for best score to be presented at the Saturday Night Gala.  $82 per golfer includes use of a golf cart.  Call 336-834-4881 Note: Hotel guests are given preference.

Friday Night Reception

From 6 to 7 PM, we will gather at Grandover for some music, Hors d’oeuvres and liquid refreshments.  This will be a time to brag about your cars and meet and mingle with other participants, judges and officials. Price $20 per person. 

Saturday, October 4th - Concours Event

Registration is from 8:00 - 10:00 AM for Concours entrants and also for sport & classic car club participants.  General public and spectators can enter at 10:00 AM and the viewing of cars will be until 2:30.  Enjoy food, music, art & local wineries on the fields of Grandover Resort and at 4:00 PM, Concours Judges will begin awarding the Concours and sport & classic car winners.  

The Triangle chapter of the AACA will bring an Assembled Model T Ford to the Concours show field then take it apart. The team will then do an assembly demonstration of an approx. 6-8 member team that will put the "T" together and drive it away, all in 8-10 minutes.  Demonstrations will be at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

* Each club and car marque that pre-registers will be given a select location along with a 10 x 10 tent to display and promote their group.  In addition to an award for each club and car marque, there will be a participation award.  Here's your chance to shine!  Bring and display your best, club items, clothing, books and even model cars.  Promote your club and marque too!  This offer is being made to any club with a minimum of 10 cars and must be submitted to us by September 15.  And finally, any of you that wish to be the captain of your group to help us organize and get your cars and members out, will be granted a free weekend pass.  Entry included with paid registration. 

Saturday Night Gala

The beautiful architecture of Grandover Resort will be the backdrop for this elegant evening with local musicians, reception, social time beginning at 5:30 PM, auction at 6:30, dinner at 7 PM, introduction of sponsors and short program at 8:00 PM.  Jackets preferred.  Social and dancing afterwards until 10 PM.  Price $50 per person 

Sunday, October 5th - Mountain Tour, Winery & Lunch

We will depart around 10:00 AM from Grandover Resort for a tour of some fantastic area back roads.  These mountain roads carve through our countryside and we will show you off-the-beaten-track areas rarely traveled.  The tour will be both as a caravan or self guided and will end at one of the more beautiful wineries in central North Carolina.  Lunch on your own from 1 – 3 PM.  Winery tours and music.

Advance Tickets & Registration - $20 - Postmarked prior to Sept 1st - One car - one person

$25 - Day of the event.  Additional persons $10 each.
